Fatal Attraction {Chapter 3}
It was around 7:00 am when my slumber was interrupted. With a groan, I let my hair fall over my eyes and didn’t move, just felt around for the phone, before picking it up and responding groggily.
“Hello?”
Hearing the news, my sleepy eyes snapped open and I sat up straighter, a little more professional. Asking a few questions before telling the distraught officer I would be down shortly, I stood and brushed off my jacket. Getting up and fixing my snarled blonde strands, it was time for me to move out and head for the house.
Arriving shortly, I was met with cops out the ass and a news reporter who was gaining on me. Smoot

Peridot K. Johnson: age 2
The tiny tot toddled around in her dress and tiara, squeeing happily upon seeing her mother stoop down and scoop her up in a loving embrace. Her soft green eyes stared into her mom’s gentle brown ones. The blonde was spun and screamed happily, before rushing downstairs and tearing into her presents. She got a small working car, a hamster, two more doll houses to add to her town in the basement (she already had 7) and finally, her mother’s peridot barrette, which Peridot wore in her hair every day, even if it clashed with her outfit (It never did)
Her parents held each other close as they watched their

Peridot Johnson was not a naturally happy woman, it was true. But today she was particularly down. She came in, did her work like normal, but something was missing. The smack talk and sarcasm was long gone, her motions were slower and less confident. And mostly, it was her eyes that disturbed everyone in the department, including Harold and the chief.
They had lost their spark, their flame that kept everyone going. Her eyes were now a quiet emerald, instead of an electric green. As the work shift ended, Harold and a few others decided to follow Peridot, to see if they could figure out what was the problem. She went home, as usual, but came

Fatal Attraction {Chapter 2}
Waiting for the police to come in was almost painful, since they were so slow, but mostly because I was trying very, VERY hard to get these damn chains off. I snarled, pulling at them before giving up and standing. The male who had tied me up made a motion to stop me, but I cut him off.
"Get lost."
I had no idea I could sound that scary, and I was proud of myself. I don't know if I scared him or if Tigress called her precious pup back, but he left me along and I was free to start picking the locks. It was a bit difficult, as the chains were tight and rubbing my wrists raw, but within around 47 seconds I got them off and I was back up and in

It had been exactly 2 years since getting her new job, and Peridot blossomed in the life of stopping crime. She wore her badge with pride, green eyes bright with pride and determination. Never once did she consider quieting or giving in: that wasn’t her style anyways. With the Chief’s guidance, she learned all she could and even took it a step further by learning on the job.
Slowly she made a name for herself, catching numerous murderers, thieves, kidnappers, drug dealers, so on and so forth. Most simply called her officer Johnson, but on the street she was simply Peridot. Speaking of that, let’s get back to our dear Polic

Haunted [Ronaldot] Prologue
A young boy by the name of Christen Phillips wandered around is new, dusty home, as his parents took care of business downstairs. They encouraged him to explore, saying this house would be much better than their old one, but he disagreed. the walls were peeling and some covered in mold, a stench of death lingered in the air, and the floors creaked wherever you stepped, even if it was on carpet. He sighs, sitting on the floor and causing a puff of dust to drift around him as he cried silently.
"No I don't have any friends, I'm all alone!"
He was about to sniffle, but he heard an odd sound. It wasn't from the floor...it sounded almost human.

Cold heart, warm hands [Peridot x human!reader]
[*cracks fingers politely* lets do this]
It had been about 4 months since you found Peridot. She was among garbage, shivering in the cold and looking like a kicked puppy. So, how of the kindness of your heart, you took her to your house. It took a while, but finally she warmed up to you, even explaining gem technology to you and showing you holograms of her homeworld.
And, as much as she refuses to admit to herself, Peridot had fallen for you. That soft (h/c) hair that swayed gently in the wind, those kind (e/c) orbs that always seemed to be warm and welcoming, and last but not least, your soft (s/c) hands that, despite her denying it, felt
Run.
That was the only thing the green gem could think to do, racing through the forest and avoiding trees, roots and anything that might slow her down. The Crystal gems had tracked her down and were determined for her to be captured and questioned about the plans Homeworld had for Earth. Peridot knew better. Telling such secrets and being discovered for them would lead to punishments so severe you would beg to be shattered before ultimately meeting your fate.
Hearing shouting from behind her snapped Peridot out of her thought, barely managing to dodge a large pine before stumbling into an open area. Turning around, she spotted them. The 'p
